About the Job

As our HR Officer, you’ll assist the HR team in delivering efficient and effective HR services while helping create a positive workplace experience for employees across our European offices. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personnel Administration, Payroll, and Benefits:
    Maintain personnel files, manage employee absences, and support payroll processes across 8 European countries. Assist with administering employee benefits, managing the company car fleet with Proximus Nxt, and helping develop and implement HR policies.
  • HR Projects:
    Contribute to various HR initiatives, such as digitalizing HR processes and implementing new tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Employee Support and Engagement:
    Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR matters, including career development, well-being, and benefits. Help organize team-building activities and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • HR Reporting:
    Assist in preparing and delivering HR-related reports to support the HR team and management.
  • Office Management:
    Support daily office operations, ensuring smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.

About You

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in an HR support or administrative role.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration, as well as labor laws and HR regulations.
  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both Dutch and English.
    • Proficiency with HR software and the MS Office suite.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
    • A proactive and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work at our office in Utrecht and travel to HQ in Ghent once a month.
