After integrating the ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX, Limagrain, first seed producer of the European Union continues to recast its information system. 

It has recently adopted Microsoft BizTalk Server as a platform for exchange between its different business applications, to provide both EDI and Web services to its customers and partners. 
A double challenge well met.

The partnership with Collibra enables CODit to add business oriented semantic technology on the BizTalk Service/Integration bus using the Collibra Business Semantics Management product suite.

This Semantic technology integrates seamlessly with CODit's Collaborative Integration Platform (CIP). The CODit Collaborative Integration Platform implements a closed loop workflow process between various key players (business analysts, developers, line-of-business application experts, business partners) to guarantee consistency between the enterprise business processes and the deployed SOA runtime. This collaborative aspect around business semantics offers a higher degree of local autonomy and improves the agility of your organization.

This partnership is also a great opportunity for Microsoft customers to drive their integration efforts from a business perspective using Collibra's platform of software products and CODit's expertise in both the Microsoft as well as the Collibra environment.

The Belgian VIS is already operational between Belgian partners since the end of 2010 and was a co-project realized by Codit and RealDolmen; read more about this project in the Belgian VIS reference case (see also downloads attached to this article). The Belgian platform load will amount to 5 million BizTalk messages each month; response times towards the callers need to be less than 5 seconds.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is attracting ever more and ever larger organizations. Successful CRM implementations depend on up to date and reliable customer data, which often resides in on premises line of business applications or data stores. This session will deliver a deep dive in how to build effective integration solutions based on Windows Azure Service Bus, and will show various options to link the CRM online with local applications, like SAP. Microsoft TechDays Belgium is 3 days full of fascinating technical sessions for developers and IT-professionals. Year after year thousands of technology professionals come together to network with peers and experts, while diving deep into Microsoft technologies and learning about the latest products and solutions. Sharing knowledge and unit R&D

This agreement originated from a desire to share knowledge and unite forces on research and development. Both companies strongly invest in education and apply a well-organized policy for internal knowledge sharing. Sessions in which employees internally pass on knowledge to others, for instance via webinars, will now be open to all employees of both companies. The product development teams will also collaborate and share expertise about Microsoft technology, which is the technological foundation of the integration solutions of both Codit and Axon Olympus.

Sharing knowledge to speed up product development certainly is a strong benefit in the ICT market, which is extremely heterogeneous and which constantly changes. There is a huge diversity in applications and platforms available on the market today, which will keep on expanding through the evolutions in cloud computing, at a pace never seen. Also Microsoft continuously pushes its Enterprise product portfolio.
The integration of different applications and its management is complex and will experience severe challenges due to an increasing demand for changes. Because neither Codit nor Axon Olympus are willing to lose its high level of innovation and technological progress, this strategic collaboration is a great opportunity for both companies.
