After integrating the ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX, Limagrain, first seed producer of the European Union continues to recast its information system. 

It has recently adopted Microsoft BizTalk Server as a platform for exchange between its different business applications, to provide both EDI and Web services to its customers and partners.

The partnership with Collibra enables CODit to add business oriented semantic technology on the BizTalk Service/Integration bus using the Collibra Business Semantics Management product suite.

This Semantic technology integrates seamlessly with CODit's Collaborative Integration Platform (CIP). The CODit Collaborative Integration Platform implements a closed loop workflow process between various key players (business analysts, developers, line-of-business application experts, business partners) to guarantee consistency between the enterprise business processes and the deployed SOA runtime. Sharing knowledge and unit R&D

This agreement originated from a desire to share knowledge and unite forces on research and development. Both companies strongly invest in education and apply a well-organized policy for internal knowledge sharing. Sessions in which employees internally pass on knowledge to others, for instance via webinars, will now be open to all employees of both companies. The product development teams will also collaborate and share expertise about Microsoft technology, which is the technological foundation of the integration solutions of both Codit and Axon Olympus.

Sharing knowledge to speed up product development certainly is a strong benefit in the ICT market, which is extremely heterogeneous and which constantly changes. There is a huge diversity in applications and platforms available on the market today, which will keep on expanding through the evolutions in cloud computing, at a pace never seen. Also Microsoft continuously pushes its Enterprise product portfolio.
The integration of different applications and its management is complex and will experience severe challenges due to an increasing demand for changes. Because neither Codit nor Axon Olympus are willing to lose its high level of innovation and technological progress, this strategic collaboration is a great opportunity for both companies.

Based on the Microsoft Service Bus beta 1.0 for Windows Server, it allows us to deliver our customers and partners the model of deployment they prefer for their integration platform: cloud only, server only, or hybrid.

• Cloud only: the ideal setup to have "Integration as a Service", where Codit manages and monitors all processes on Codit Integration Cloud. All data is stored 
• Server only: allows for "local only" scenarios, where all data is exchanged and stored in the internal network and latency is kept as low as possible

What modules are included in the architecture?

How this growing story grew

Codit has been a fast growing company over the last couple of years. "Codit grew in terms of technology and in numbers," said CEO Stijn Degrieck. "We started as a BizTalk Server specialist in 2000 and have become an expert in the domain of business integration. Today we are using a wide range of Microsoft technologies, including cloud-based Windows Azure solutions. While our passion for technology helped us to attract new talents and grow our staff of engineers with 20% last year, also our reputation of integration experts helped us achieve a turnover increase of 20%. And we are ready for more!"

Why Portugal?

"As our business continues to grow across the globe, we want to leverage our current growth pace by penetrating the Portuguese market" explained Codit CEO Stijn Degrieck. Luis Gama appointed Country Manager

Luis Gama, working closely together with Codit for many years, will take up this new role as Country Manager for Codit Portugal. He brings 20 years of experience in IT management and expertise in the financial services industry and is entrepreneur at heart. Luis Gama will be leading the Portugal team.

Luis Gama: "I am excited to join this team of experts, exclusively dedicated to their specialization in integration. Just like the Codit Paris office, my local team will be able to work and share knowledge with the Codit Products and the Managed Services teams, both residing in the Codit headquarters in Belgium. For global oriented projects, we even have a worldwide network of integration experts at our fingertips thanks to the Impack Alliance that Codit co-founded last year. Having local talents with local market knowledge is an advantage both to local and international customers. Besides growing the company, I am proud to open doors to the Portuguese speaking markets in the world for Codit."

This is the eighth release of BizTalk Server, and it is the eighth version where Codit has been actively working with.  As a TAP customer, we have provided feedback and did extensive testing with the product.  The cloud offerings, which will be released soon, include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) capabilities as well as Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities. Please stay tuned for exciting updates on this topic in the near future as we are working very close with the product team on these releases.

We are also proud to say that we have just released a new version of the following products, supported and tested on BizTalk Server 2013:

• Codit Integration Dashboard: handle exceptions and resubmit messages in a user friendly web based portal.
• Codit Integration Framework: our framework is processing millions of messages every day in projects around the world and will be doing so for the BizTalk 2013 version.  The new version of our framework contains a lot of new features.  Don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

For the on-premises BizTalk Server 2013 release, the following themes are important:

• Cloud Connectivity
• Ability to run existing BizTalk applications in the cloud (IaaS)
• Improved Performance
• Simplified Development and Management Experience
• Support for the latest platform and standards

In terms of features, this translates to

• Integration with Cloud Services- BizTalk Server 2013 includes new out-of-the box adapters to send and receive messages from Windows Azure Service Bus, making it easy to build hybrid solutions. It also provides capabilities to host BizTalk endpoints in Azure through the Service Bus Relay providing a simple and secure way to connect external partners and application to BizTalk Server on premises.
• RESTful services- BizTalk Server 2013 provides adapters to invoke REST endpoints as well as expose BizTalk Server artifacts as a RESTful service.
• Enhanced SharePoint adapter- Integrating with SharePoint using BizTalk Server 2013 is now as simple as integrating with a file share.
• SFTP adapter-Enables sending and receiving messages from an SFTP server.
• Other enhancements: The ESB capabilities previously introduced in the ESB Toolkit are now fully integrated with BizTalk Server, Dependency tracking,Improvements in dynamic send ports, XslCompiledTransform, more support for protocol updates (X12, EDIFACT, HL7)

What is Trends Gazellen?

Trends Gazellen is an initiative of the Belgian financial and economical weekly papers Trends and Trends-Tendances. According to Trends, "Trends Gazellen" are strong growing companies that enlarge the competitive drive in the region and that stimulate business in a positive way. With this concept, the organizers want to award fast-growing companies and create an optimal climate for entrepreneurship.

Selection procedure?  

The procedure to be selected is based on operational independence of the company and job creation. The editor makes a choice based on information from the business guide 'Trends Top 100.000'  and looks which companies that were the most fast growing in the period 2007-2011 in terms of turnover, staff and cash flow.

About our growth

Indeed, Codit can submit strong growth figures. 2011 compared to 2007, total turnover increased with 115% and the workforce of the company grew with 128%.
